Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine the red wine, orange juice, and sugar over medium heat.
- Add the cinnamon sticks, star anise, cloves, and orange slices to the pot.
- Stir gently until the sugar dissolves and heat the mixture until it is just below boiling.
- Remove from heat and let it steep for about 10 minutes to infuse the flavors.
- Strain the mixture into heat-resistant glass mugs and garnish with a cinnamon stick and an orange slice.
