Cynar Old Fashioned
A bitter twist on the classic Old Fashioned, combining the herbal notes of Cynar with the warmth of bourbon.
Instructions
- Add 2 oz of bourbon and 1/2 oz of Cynar to a mixing glass filled with ice.
- Add 1 dash of aromatic bitters to the mixing glass.
- Stir gently for about 30 seconds to chill and dilute the mixture.
- Strain the mixture into an Old Fashioned glass with a large ice cube.
- Express the oils from an orange twist over the drink and then drop it in as garnish.
