A delightful twist on the classic sour, combining the richness of whiskey with a tangy note from fresh lemon juice, topped with a frothy layer of egg white.
Instructions
- In a shaker, combine 2 oz of Bourbon, 3/4 oz of fresh lemon juice, and 1/2 oz of simple syrup.
- Add 1 egg white to the shaker for frothiness.
- Dry shake (without ice) for 15 seconds to emulsify the egg white.
- Add ice and shake vigorously for another 15 seconds.
- Strain into a rocks glass filled with ice.
- Garnish with a lemon twist.
