Instructions
- In a shaker, add fresh mint leaves and lemon wedges.
- Muddle gently to release the mint oils and lemon juice.
- Add bourbon and simple syrup to the shaker.
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
- Strain the mixture into an old fashioned glass filled with crushed ice.
- Garnish with a sprig of mint and a lemon wedge on the rim.
