Wine Tasting Notes
Clean, bright Monte Xanic Calixa Valle de Guadalupe Mexico Chardonnay with green tones and straw-yellow in color. Crisp and very intense on the nose. Mainly fruit aromas (yellow plum, banana, pineapple, persimmon, mango, and mandarin) and floral aromas (orange blossom and acacia). Also, intense notes of fennel and anise, lending the wine great complexity. Gentle mouth feel. A dry wine, with fresh acidity, and light vinosity giving it a firm body and good structure. Retronasal aromas include those reminiscent of the nose, especially flowers, fresh fruit like banana and pineapple, and anise. Harmonious balance and long finish.
