Running three hundred miles in length and extending inland off the Pacific Ocean, proximity to the coast is a major factor in the Central Coast. Complex soils and transverse mountain ranges add to the allure of this region s growing areas. Once our Chardonnay grapes are at the point of perfect tension between ripe fruit and bright acidity, they are picked in the early morning and arrive at the winery still cold.
